Introduction
1.1. These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern all competitions, giveaways, or contests (collectively “Competitions”) run by MonFM (“the Station”), whether on-air, online, or via social media.
1.2. By entering any MonFM Competition, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs, as well as any additional terms stated in the specific Competition announcement (on-air, online, or social media).

Eligibility
2.1. Entrants must be aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
2.2. Employees, volunteers, and immediate family members of MonFM (including, but not limited to, spouses, parents, children, and siblings) are not eligible to enter.
2.3. MonFM reserves the right to request proof of eligibility (e.g., proof of age, identity, or residency) at any time.

Entry Process
3.1. The opening and closing dates and times for each Competition will be indicated in the respective Competition announcement.
3.2. Instructions on how to enter (for example, via phone-in, text, online form, or social media comment) will be provided as part of each Competition’s promotional material. Failure to follow these instructions may result in disqualification.
3.3. Only one entry per person per Competition is permitted unless otherwise stated. Multiple entries may be disqualified.

Winner Selection & Notification
4.1. The method of selecting the winner(s) (e.g., random draw, judged entry, quiz-based selection) will be specified during each Competition.
4.2. Winner(s) will be notified via the contact details provided upon entry. If a winner does not respond within the time stated by MonFM (usually 24–72 hours), MonFM reserves the right to select an alternative winner or forfeit the prize.
4.3. MonFM’s decision in respect of all matters relating to the Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Prizes
5.1. The nature and number of prizes will be detailed in each specific Competition announcement.
5.2. Prizes are subject to availability. MonFM reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent value without prior notice.
5.3. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash or credit alternatives will be offered, except in the event of prize unavailability as described in clause 5.2.
5.4. Any additional costs, taxes, fees, or expenses related to the prize that are not specifically stated are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Liability
6.1. MonFM will not be liable for any losses, damages, or injuries arising from any entrant’s participation in the Competition, including, but not limited to, any issues related to the redemption of the prize.
6.2. MonFM assumes no responsibility for technical malfunctions of telephone networks, computer systems, servers, providers, or software that may impact entry or the Competition’s administration.

Privacy & Publicity
7.1. By entering the Competition, entrants consent to the collection, use, and processing of their personal information for the purposes of the Competition. Personal data will be handled in accordance with MonFM’s Privacy Policy.
7.2. By participating in the Competition, winners agree that MonFM may use their name, voice, photograph, and any statements made regarding the Competition or the prize for advertising and promotional purposes, without additional remuneration.

Disqualification
8.1. MonFM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who fails to comply with these T&Cs or any specific rules of a particular Competition.
8.2. In the event of disqualification, MonFM may select an alternative winner in accordance with the winner selection process.

Modification or Cancellation
9.1. MonFM reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, amend, or suspend any Competition at any time if it is not capable of being conducted as specified.
9.2. MonFM will not be liable for any cancellation, termination, amendment, or suspension of the Competition for any reason.

General
10.1. These T&Cs (and any non-contractual disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with them) are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10.2. If any provision of these T&Cs is deemed invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, all other provisions will remain in full force and effect.
10.3. MonFM may update these T&Cs at any time, and any amendments will be effective immediately upon posting on the Station’s website. Entrants are encouraged to review these T&Cs periodically.
