Holyhead Hotspur will aim to reach the Welsh Cup quarter finals for the first time in their history when they visit Carmarthen Town next month.
The Ardal North West club needed penalties to knock out local rivals Trearddur Bay following a goalless draw in last Saturday's third round derby.
Ex-Bangor City marksman Les Davies missed Bay's fifth spot kick to send Hotspur through to the last sixteen.
Their next opponents in the cup, led by ex-Wales international Mark Aizlewood, are currently in mid-table in the second-tier Cymru North.
Carmarthen also needed penalties to progress following a 2-2 draw with fourth tier club Penydarren, which saw veteran keeper Lee Idzi make two crucial saves for the Old Gold against his former club.
Just two Gwynedd teams have reached the fourth round - with giantkillers Llanuwchllyn visiting Cymru North side Denbigh Town.
The Ardal North East club, under manager Sion Tudur, cruised past Swansea University with a 3-0 victory - Sam Evans, Meilir Williams and Tomos Evans all scored in the second half.
And 2016-17 winners Bala Town will travel to face another Cymru South club, Caerau Ely.
Colin Caton's Lakesiders were held to a 2-2 draw by Flint Town United, after taking the lead via a Jake Phillips own goal and a George Newell effort, but emerged 4-2 victors in the resulting penalty shoot out, with Kieran Lloyd scoring the winner.
Ties will be played on the weekend of Friday 13th and Saturday 14th December.
