Caernarfon Town ran out 2-1 winners at Flint Town United in the Cymru Premier on Wednesday night.
Paolo Mendes put the Cofis in front from close range after just five minutes when he took advantage after Silkmen keeper Jack Flint dropped the ball on the line after a corner kick.
But Flint equalised in the 40th minute when Jake Phillips' cross was turned in by Izzack Lambert past Stephen McMullan.
Lambert gave away a penalty in the 83rd minute for a foul on Zack Clarke, whose resulting penalty struck the post.
But Caernarfon made amends four minutes later as a well-worked team move allowed Darren Thomas to lay off the ball to Matty Jones, who drilled the ball home to clinch their third league win of the season.
Richard Davies' men are up to seventh in the league - and just a point off the top six - as they prepare for their televised home clash with Connah's Quay Nomads on Saturday evening (5.15pm ko at The Oval)
