Man jailed for teenage sex attack

A man who sexually assaulted a teenage girl after following her home has been jailed.

Terrance Lloyd was found guilty after attacking a 13 year-old at her Bangor home in July 2023.

Llandudno magistrates heard Lloyd (38) followed the girl and slapped her on the bottom. She told him to stop, but the defendant continued to ask for her phone number, even after she told him her age.

Lloyd, of no fixed abode, was sentenced to 44 weeks in prison and must register with the police for seven years.

PC Amie from North Wales Police, who investigated the case, said: "The victim in this case was incredibly brave to come forward and report what had happened to her."
