Gwynedd voters are being asked for their views on using a different system to elect local councillors.
Currently, Cyngor Gwynedd members are elected through the traditional first-past-the-post method.
But since July, the council has been holding a public consultation on whether to switch to the so-called STV (Single Transferable Vote) system, also known as proportional representation.
Residents have until Sunday 15th September to take part in the consultation, before a final decision is made by councillors next month..
Cllr Menna Trenholme, cabinet member for the Corporate Support Department, said: "Thank you to everyone who has already taken advantage of the opportunity to share their opinion on the matter."
"I would like to remind those who wish to have their say, but have not yet done so, that they have until 15 September to take part. The short questionnaire is available on the Cyngor Gwynedd website and is easy to use."
“After the exercise has been completed, Gwynedd councillors will carefully consider all responses and feedback received before making a final decision at a special meeting of the Full Council in October 2024."
“As part of this consultation process, we are also gathering the views of Gwynedd’s community councils, town councils and the city council.”
Anyone wishing to take part in the consultation should visit the Cyngor Gwynedd website.
Paper copies are also available at local libraries throughout Gwynedd and at Siop Gwynedd in Caernarfon, Dolgellau and Pwllheli, which is open on weekdays from 9am-4pm.
To receive a paper copy by post, or in another language or format, call 01766 771000.
