Community groups across Gwynedd and Anglesey will share £950,000 of Welsh Government funding.
The grant money will be shared by a number of projects across the region as part of the Community Facilities Programme.
£300,000 will go towards the redevelopment of the Holyhead Enterprise Centre into the Lighthouse Homeless Hub.
Digartref plans to carry out a number of renovations such as laundry & bathing facilities, fully equipped kitchen, communal dining area providing warm space, interview rooms, IT suite, information centre, relaxation area and outside recreational garden.
Pwlhelli-based GISDA will get £292,000 to buy and refurbish a new centre for vulnerable and homeless young people, including emergency and temporary accommodation with support to help them progress to independent living.
Malltraeth Ymlaen will use £212,000 towards the purchase and refurbishment of Canolfan Hen Ysgol Bordorgan. This will include installing new kitchen and accessible toilets with baby changing facilities, heating, lighting and insultation, and the development of a community garden.
Byw’n Lach Cyf in Bangor receives £159,670 towards creating a brand-new health, wellbeing and fitness space for people with limited mobility.
The Ucheldre Centre in Holyhead will get a grant of £19,334 towards refurbishing and adding additional areas to provide more space for community use including disabled access and a changing places facility.
Culture Secretary, Jane Hutt, said: "The Community Facilities Programme is important in helping organisations improve facilities so local people can benefit from them in their day to day lives."

The Community Facilities Programme, a capital grant scheme, is designed to help groups in the voluntary sector make improvements to facilities such as sports clubs and community halls.
