A busker who threatened to burn down a petrol station has been jailed for eight months.
Steven Johnson also threatened to set himself - and the manager - alight when he was told to leave the forecourt at Pentraeth in August.
Caernarfon Crown Court heard the 52 year-old had a lighter in his hand and told her he would "set this place on fire".
He then lifted the nozzle of a petrol pump and threatened to "set you on fire and myself".
The manager pushed Johnson away and put the nozzle back in its pump before staff removed Johnson from the site.
He threatened to return and smash the windows, but was arrested nearby.
Johnson, of Caernarfon, pleaded guilty to threatening to damage property
Following sentencing on Friday, Sergeant Beth Lloyd from North Wales Police said: "I commend the actions of the staff at the forecourt who acted quickly to stop Johnson from causing significant damage and injury despite being in fear of real danger."
“There could have been much more serious consequences and I hope that Johnson takes time to reflect on his behaviour.”
